Send your newsletter, product update or promotion with AhaSend: import your contacts, design the email in one of two editors, send yourself a test and read the report. No early-access request, no add-on. Open it in your dashboard and start. There is no separate price, because campaign emails come out of your plan's monthly volume. ## AhaSend is no longer for transactional email only Your newsletter, product update or promotion can now go out from AhaSend, next to your transactional email. You can use our new **Campaign Builder** or you can use the regular endpoints. The only thing you'll need to change if you use our regular enpoints is to configure the domain as a Marketing domain: Go to [the Domains page](https://dash.ahasend.com/account/-/domains) -> Open the domain -> Click Settings -> set the domain as Marketing. **Campaign Builder** is included in every plan, including the Free plan. Campaign emails simply count towards your monthly volume. No separate price. *Marketing mail runs on its own IP pools with its own limits, so it never touches the reputation or speed of your transactional email.* ## Introducing: the Campaign Builder Our Campaign Builder sits right in your existing [AhaSend Dashboard](https://dash.ahasend.com/account/-/marketing/campaigns) and is included with every plan. ![Campaign Builder](https://cms.ahasend.com/sites/default/files/styles/max_width_1000/public/2026-10/campaign-builder.png?itok=KwgThE1Q) ## Contacts and lists ### Contacts Contacts come in from a CSV, by hand, or straight from your own signup form or app through the Management API. Import a CSV from the Contacts page. Every contact has its own page with its fields, its lists, its opens and clicks and every campaign it received. Unsubscribes stick. A contact who unsubscribed from everything is skipped by every campaign, and re-importing an old CSV never puts anyone back on a list they left. ![Contacts page](https://cms.ahasend.com/sites/default/files/styles/cke_media_resize_large/public/2026-10/contacts.png?itok=9smrtlzE) ### Contact fields Add the fields your campaigns need, such as company, plan, yes/no or date/time. Use them to filter your lists and to personalize the email: write `{{ first_name }}` or any field of your own, and each recipient sees their own value, with a default for contacts where the field is empty. ![Contact field](https://cms.ahasend.com/sites/default/files/styles/cke_media_resize_large/public/2026-10/contact-field.png?itok=8vaU_sdA) ### Lists A campaign goes to one or more lists. The Lists page shows two numbers for each list: how many contacts are on it, and how many a campaign will reach, leaving out the ones that bounced, unsubscribed or turned out to be invalid. Advanced search filters a list on any field, with AND and OR rules and groups, relative dates such as "7 days ago" and checks for empty fields. Say your webshop marks its VIP customers and stores their city. Filter on VIP is Yes and city is Amsterdam, click **Save as new list**, and send that list an invitation to your store opening. ![Lists](https://cms.ahasend.com/sites/default/files/styles/cke_media_resize_large/public/2026-10/lists.png?itok=hh5LxyfA) ## Two editors and reusable templates ### Simple editor Not every email needs a layout. The Simple editor works like a document: you type, and add an image, a button or columns where you need them. ![Simple Editor](https://cms.ahasend.com/sites/default/files/styles/cke_media_resize_medium/public/2026-10/simple-editor.png?itok=Rrw496j6) ### Advanced editor When the design matters, the Advanced editor builds the email from MJML blocks that you drag in and style one by one. MJML is the open-source markup made for responsive email, so it handles the quirks of email clients for you, and you can import and export MJML and HTML whenever you want. Save a campaign's design as a template under Marketing → Templates and start the next campaign from it. Each campaign gets its own copy of the design, so changing the template later never changes a campaign you already created. ![Create a new template](https://cms.ahasend.com/sites/default/files/styles/max_width_1000/public/2026-10/create-new-template.png?itok=DcFO7crc) ## Test, schedule, send Send a test to up to five addresses, then send the campaign right away or schedule it. ## Checked before it goes out That marketing infrastructure is shared by our customers' campaigns, so every campaign is checked before it goes out, theirs as well as yours. That helps keep other senders' bad lists from hurting your delivery. First the list. We check that every address is well-formed, that its domain accepts mail and isn't on our list of known bad domains, and check the mailbox itself where we can. Then the content. A language model that we fine-tuned and run on our own servers helps catch campaigns that look like spam, phishing or cold outreach. We don't accept cold outreach. If a campaign is held for review, you are told why. Every campaign carries an unsubscribe link and one-click unsubscribe headers, as Gmail and Yahoo expect from bulk senders. Spam complaints that mailbox providers such as Yahoo and Microsoft report back are processed automatically: the contact leaves that list and gets no more campaigns from it. ## Read the report Once a campaign is out, its report shows deliveries, opens, clicks, unsubscribes and complaints, deliverability per list and the reasons behind bounces. Open and click rates count unique recipients out of delivered emails and leave out opens and clicks we recognize as bots, such as security scanners. It is part of Free, Pro and Max, and campaign emails come out of your plan's monthly volume: 1,000 emails a month on Free, 25,000 on Pro and 100,000 on Max, with usage-based pricing above that on Pro and Max. Push each new signup from your app or website as it comes in, or import up to 1,000 contacts per request. Add them to lists in batches, and create, test and schedule campaigns from your own code. You need an API key with the contacts, lists and campaigns scopes; legacy v1 keys can't be used. The official Go and TypeScript SDKs cover these endpoints. Working with an AI assistant?
